In the summer of 2015, Sam sat down in the newsroom of his very first job after college as a morning reporter at the Cape Cod Times. Little did he know (because obviously he was more worried about settling into his first real job than finding love), the returning summer intern (a hotshot, a wunderkind) was spying on him from across the cubicle. They sat next to each other the entire summer and, after noticing that he always laughed at her jokes and a fair amount of matchmaking from the editors and reporters, Sam and Kerri went on their first date. The rest was history. Nine years, two cities, several periods of long distance and an adorable cat later, we're getting married!
